All Too Much for Oliver was officially released at the end of November last year. Publication was followed by announcements on social media, my blog, and email. Even though it was very special, it was quiet. There were no people there with us to celebrate the big moment. After two years of hard work, I guess we were kind of hoping for some sort of "real" celebration, with hugs and kisses and flowers.

Well, I'm thrilled to say we got our chance yesterday. Our book was accepted a few months ago by the AFCC for a book launch, which was wonderful news! Barbara and have been so excited since we got the news that we'd finally be able to "tell" our story rather than write it.
Barbara and Oliver
Our audience was made up of dear friends, family, and wonderful new faces, young and old. Everyone listened quietly as we talked about what it's like to be highly sensitive and how to recognize it in your child. We went through our book and told our story, as everyone gave us warm, reassuring smiles.
Can you sport Oliver at the conference book shop (Closetful of Books)?
Words can't express how wonderful an experience yesterday was. I was reminded of just how passionate Barbara and I are about what we do and our mission. All Too Much for Oliver may not stand out with bright color or exciting adventure, but it does stand out with a meaningful message and important purpose, and we couldn't be more proud we managed to bring this story to life.
